We slide into the final year
famously touted as the end of the world
and if it really is; then i must say
the end to this legendry planet
is being treated with blatant disregard
Coz' when the poor guy down the road
lifts his head to wish me a happy new year
I find it amusingly ironic to hear
coz' its that year, they say
the reapers are coming on earth, to slay
What if it does really happen
The big blue ball has a great fall
would we melt into oblivion
would we burn into flames
or would we drown in ether?
As we stare at the end
with open, blank eyes
and a hopeless apprehension of our mortality
As towards the cliff we stear,
I wish you a Merry Christmas,
and a Happy New Year!
